just started having this problem and could use some insight. all i can tell you is when I "bounce to movie" my sound and quick time image are out of sync. audio is ahead of picture. I've played with quarter frame offset, doesn't make a difference. when I view it in the session it is in sync. any ideas?

assuming you are working 24/48 make sure you check 48 k on the sound portion of the bounce to movie.

in my experience...you must keep the bounced movie at whatever sample rate your session is...so if you're working at 44.1K, make sure the movie bounce doesn't try to sample-rate-convert. same goes for 48K. this is kind of a p.i.t.a., digi...why doesn't the movie bounce follow the sample rate of the session you're in? hope this helps, marty.

Are you using a firewire DV bridge to view picture on a TV? When using this method you must set a 22 quarter frame offset. If this is the case, and you have been working without an offset, you are technically not in synch with picture. Then, when you go to make the bounce to movie, you would have an offset problem. A little tricky until you figure this out. Had the same problem when I started. I would check your picture sync with the movie open on the computer screen with a zero quarterframe offset. Once you are correctly in Sync, it should bounce fine. Good luck!

sample rate was the thing. I was at 24/48. must have set it to 44.1 for another bounce. Thans Guys!
